The American Horror Stories season 2, episode 6 cast and characters feature a few familiar faces portraying the eerie characters. Unlike the cast of American Horror Stories’ season 2 episode “Bloody Mary,” episode 6 features previous American Horror Story actors in addition to frequent Ryan Murphy collaborators. “Facelift” also revives the familiar plastic surgery premise of Ryan Murphy’s Nip/Tuck, so it’s fitting that the creator recruited some of his notable collaborators to bring the story to life.

American Horror Stories season 2, episode 6 follows a Beverly Hills woman named Virginia who seeks plastic surgery as a way to combat the physical changes of ageing. When she's recommended to a mysterious firm, it becomes clear that more supernatural tactics are at play in her procedure. Virginia is then invited to a retreat for patients and colleagues, leading her daughter to discover the shocking truth behind the secretive society.

None of the actors in “Facelift” have appeared in American Horror Stories before, but one had a memorable stint in American Horror Story season 10. Most notably, American Horror Stories’ “Facelift” is the debut of frequent Ryan Murphy collaborator Judith Light, who leads the chilling episode with a brilliant performance. Judith Light as Virginia: A Beverly Hills woman who seeks plastic surgery to avoid the physical changes of ageing. The actress notably starred in TV shows and movies like Julia, tick, tick… Boom!, Ugly Betty, Who’s The Boss, Transparent, and Law & Order: SVU. Light is also known for her collaborations with Ryan Murphy in American Crime Story and The Politician, with “Facelift” marking her American Horror Story universe debut.

Rebecca Dayan as Dr. Enid Perle: The mysterious plastic surgeon who performs an odd procedure on Virginia in American Horror Stories season 2 episode 6. Dayan made her American Horror Story debut in season 10’s Death Valley as Maria Wycoff. She has also been seen in Ryan Murphy’s Halston, Telsa, and Novitiate.

Britt Lower as Fay: Virginia's daughter who becomes suspicious of Virginia's new doctor. Lower is best known for playing Helly on Severance, Lee on High Maintenance, Liz on Man Seeking Woman, and Sarah Finn on Casual.

Todd Waring as Bernie: Virginia's neighbor who is now dating Cassie. Waring has also been seen in Servant, Chasing Life, The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story, and NYPD Blue.

Cornelia Guest as Cassie: Bernie's new girlfriend who recommended Dr. Perle's firm. Outside of appearing in the American Horror Stories season 2 episode “Facelift,” Guest has been seen in I Know Who Killed Me, Zoom, and Twin Peaks: The Return.

Carey Scott as Grady: Virginia's business manager. Scott is best known for playing Dr. Kerlan in HBO Max's Winning Time, Dr. Buckley in Mad Men, and Christian in Hilton Head Island.

Harrison Cone as Student: The student who shows Fay his tattoo at the end of the American Horror Stories "Facelift" episode. Cone is known for his role as Noah in Stage Fright, Bax in Superstore, and Tol in First Love.
